ScoffySoft
ScoffySoft is the brand name I use for my Software Development projects. I've been using it on and off for about 30 years, starting back in the 1990's when I started work as a full-time software developer. These days it is the branding used for my new project - 'HLaS' or 'Hook, Line and Sinker' which is a web application and iOS app for managing membership of small fishing clubs - designed to help me with the admin of the two fishing clubs which I am currently Treasurer of. What we are providing
Bespoke software development projects, mainly for my own benefit and usage, but occasionally branching out into small projects for other people. I think the very first (c) ScoffySoft project was a Postscript printer driver written in C (not even C++) and assembler, running on an Atari 1024ST pretending to be a Mac and sending print jobs off to my Apple Laser Printer. Since then I've built a variety of command-line and GUI tools, and most recently branched out into web development.
Skills (if you would call them that) include: C/C++, bash scripting, VB/VBA programming and more recently Python and a little JavaScript. I also speak SQL to a certain extent!
